Callisto is a non-profit organization focused on leveraging technology to support survivors of sexual violence in recognizing repeat offenders.Established a few years back by Jess Ladd, the organization is now led by CEO Tracy DeTomasi. The initiative primarily addresses the alarming reality on college campuses, where it is estimated that approximately 90% of sexual assaults are perpetrated by individuals wiht prior offenses, with each offender averaging around six incidents. Disturbingly, nearly 90% of these assaults remain unreported. Callisto’s mission is to offer an anonymous reporting mechanism and has showcased its effectiveness through various presentations conducted by Tracey.
